Applicants who reside in the United States must meet the following requirements:
Become a legal resident of the United States; has been granted permanent residence

Applicants must have at least 36 hours of verifiable volunteer work, from June 2010, and must continue to have at least 36 hours of volunteer work annually throughout the duration of the scholarship.
